A quick tutorial on the SHATTER Effect I used in making the Promo Intro featured in my Vegas Tutorials on adding sound and sound FX to movie clips. This was made in After Effects CS4 and demonstrates the use of a built in effect called SHATTER and indicates what you can do with some of the settings to get the desired effect you are looking for.

Guys, getting asked a lot about stalling the shatter till later in the life of the image. Split the layer containing your image at the point where you want the shatter tostart and apply the? effect to the upper layer. Cheers.

up to my knowledge.. the answer 4 ur question? is GREEN or BLUE Matte shoot.. all the performence will be done by actors and the background will be covered with matte such as green or blue.. by using KEYLIGHT plug-in in after effects it can be removed easily..!!
