Hi? Tiny. Now i'm not the techiest person on the planet but as far as I know it doesn't have any effect on the sensor at ll. As for colour saturation I haven't noticed any problems on shots I've taken. - Mike

after watching your item on the big stopper ND filter i wish to ask if extended exposure as you demonstrated has any effect on colour? saturation and what if any effect does long exposure have on the sensor
I'm looking into taking some new classes at the local community college to try to further my knowledge of art and photography. While there I'm planning on getting Photoshop and Lightroom.
I've been a pro designer for many years, and my main tool has been some version of PaintShop Pro. I would suggest it plus Paint.Net, Gimp, My Paint, Adobe DNG? Converter, and something to edit RAW if you shoot in RAW. You can do anything Photoshop can with that package.
