This time-compressed video shows my second extended session with the PR2 Remote Lab's emerging "puppeteering" interface. This video shows the user's point-of-view. A second video ( ) is a collection of such HTML5 applications as well as HTML/JS frameworks that help developers use WebGL with ROS ( via simpler APIs for some of ROS's advanced features. The video represents approximately 88 minutes, with a few (visible) interruptions. I never turned off my Gchat: apologies. While almost 90 minutes might seem like a long time to put 15 objects into a box, I assure you that's less than 1/48th of 1% of the time it would have taken me to walk the 2,308 miles from my southeastern apartment to Bosch's Palo Alto Research, put the objects in the box, and walk back. Thus this approach has already proved itself practical :) . This is my second time getting a chance to use the interface after various improvements were made. You can see evidence of my learning curve as I awkwardly pick up objects at first and later get more ambitious (picking up two objects at once, etc.).
