The future of the internet is HTML5, the last spec upgrade to HTML4 was around 1998. Hakon Wium Lie the Father of CSS talks about HTML5 & CS3 and how it is going to make 1 internet. The internet is the internet regardless of what device you are on, you still want to access the same information. We get to see CS3 style sheets scale a website so that its content remains relevant to the screen size. Hakon also spoke at the Keynote at Google I/O in San Francisco May 19th about Opera's support of the new VP8 codec, CS3 and the future of the Internet.
