Modern web browsers have seen tremendous improvements in performance and capabilities in both desktop and mobile devices that, combined with the HTML5, have brought forth a new breed of rich, interactive web applications. This session will be of interest to developers looking to quickly create new, special-purpose Alfresco-powered applications for desktops, mobile and/or tablets. Attendees will learn the following: * Introduction to AlfJS, a pure JavaScript library to access Alfresco repositories from browser and Node.js applications. * How to use new JavaScript frameworks, such as Ember.js, to develop rich MVC web applications. * How to apply Twitter's Bootstrap library along with CSS media queries to create responsive (multi-device) user-interfaces. * Use Node.js as a "middleware" to enhance application functionality and provide additional services beyond those offered by Alfresco. We will pack the presentation with a myriad of single-purpose applications such as: * QuickMag: A simple, touch-enabled, news magazine for tablet and mobile devices. * CoPresent: View and share documents and presentations in real-time on tablets and desktops. A través de ella pudimos conocer Open Web Device @openwebdevice, una plataforma móvil basada en tecnología web abierta, desarrollada conjuntamente entre Mozilla y Telefónica.
